Terms & Conditions

Desire Novels is a digital service that publishes original romance fiction. These Terms & Conditions form a binding agreement between you and Desire Novels, the operator of the service (referred to here as we, us, or our). By creating an account, subscribing, or reading on the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Desire Novels.

We publish original, serialized romance novels that you read in your browser or as an installed web app. Some chapters are free to read, some open after you share an email address, and the full library is available with a paid subscription.

We regularly add, update, and occasionally retire titles. We cannot promise that any particular story or chapter will stay available forever.

Our stories contain mature romantic themes written for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or subscribe. By using the service you confirm that you meet this age requirement and can enter into a binding contract.

An account is created when you start reading and confirm your email address, or when you sign in with a supported provider. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity that takes place under your account.

Tell us straight away if you think someone else has gained access to your account.

A subscription unlocks the full library for the plan you choose. Where a trial is offered, we charge the trial amount shown at checkout and, unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription renews automatically at the price and interval displayed when you purchased.

Payments are handled by our third-party payment provider. Renewals continue until you cancel. Prices can vary by region and may change over time; we will always show a new price before it applies to you.

You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then.

Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are non-refundable. If you think you were charged by mistake, contact us and we will look into it.

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to read our stories for your own enjoyment. You may not copy, republish, resell, publicly share, scrape, or use our content to train machine-learning systems, and you may not share your account access with others.

All stories, cover art, and branding are original works owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.

Please do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service, and do not use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.

We work hard to keep Desire Novels running smoothly, but the service is provided on an as-available basis and we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws that apply where Desire Novels operates, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
